I wish I could say I was surprised, but it’s not like +Groupon has shown integrity in the past. Random examples from a quick web search:

Of course, it’s not like +GNOME has been a shining example of listening to alternative viewpoints in the past several years, and as a result I run MATE; it has been made clear to me that I’m not the target audience. But neither GNOME’s failures nor Groupon’s history is an excuse for Groupon’s current actions.
