Google just emailed me to tell me that I have 10GB of unknown promotional storage expiring in a month. Interesting that they don’t know what promotion that was associated with. I was unaware that any of the storage increases they added to the account were temporary promotions. Also, waiting until today to tell me that they were expiring the promotion (whatever it was) today is interesting. Won’t hurt me since I wasn’t actually using that storage yet. Just a reminder that I’m the product not the customer. ☺

Edit: misread mail saying month from today as today. Oops.

I got that email earlier as well, so I went to manage my storage and looked. it says “Quickoffice promotion - expires 10/3/15” on mine.

+Jordan Keyes Where do you get to “manage my storage”? I see only offer to purchase upgrades. (Hardly matters since I use less than 2GB and probably close to half of that is just waiting for me to delete things, so just curious…)

https://www.google.com/settings/storage will show you your storage, and if you put your mouse over the little pie chart on the left, it shows you where all of the storage comes from, and what’s using it.

Aha, didn’t occur to me to hover over the pie. Bingo!

I guess it didn’t occur to someone at google, either, thus the “unknown” ;)
