Yay, Google provided Lollipop update for my GPE S4 after all. (Not quite dead yet…)

Bleh, the text said that it fixed the security problem; no reference to stagefright and I have no idea whether the second required fixes were installed so I’ll leave MMS auto download off.

Boo, the update deleted all my many alarms I use to schedule my life. No previous update has done this to my recollection, so I didn’t even check, and my alarms didn’t go off this morning so I didn’t wake up in time to exercise.

Good point. Not vulnerable according to that detector. Still bleh that Google was so vague in the description, though.

Well, that will be a nice vector for rooting vendor-abandoned phones. :-)
