Trick or Treat
An hour and a half to cover one block trick-or-treating with three kids. We walked on road and driveways instead of lawns which made it a much longer walk than many of our fellow trick-or-treaters. And then I let the kids eat only one piece of candy each before bed! So it actually counted as exercise…

That’s just cruel…..

It was pretty funny; it was raining when we left and the streets were crowded. The rain stopped after about half an hour, just about when most people seemed to give up and go inside to get away from the rain. So, many of the houses we visited they were glad to have someone to give candy to. “Take as big a handful as you can!”
They’ll have fun sorting it all out tomorrow. The first-grader is allergic to the majority of the candy, so we trade around so that she can get candy that’s safe for her. They seem to enjoy the process. ☺

Sounds like victory. I’m increasing handouts too.
