STEM education is a major priority for Wake County schools.

Unless, of course, it gets in the way of cookie-cutter “education”.

Then it’s an impediment and should not be tolerated, apparently.

Sigh.

+Dean Peters …or homeschool. Or both. But those options are not equally accessible to all, and artificially limiting STEM education for the convenience of the school administration is both immoral (damaging children) and economically unwise.

You’re right +Michael K Johnson – I’ve seen some excellent math & science geeks come out of homeschooling.

You’re also right, artificially limiting STEM for the purposes you site isn’t doing anyone any favors, except perhaps some well paid bureaucrat types.
