I totally am !surprised since one of the big things that happened after Microsoft bought Skype was that they centralized the supernodes, in effect turning a peer-to-peer network into a client-server network.

I wouldn’t have been surprised if this was almost the case before hand also. [In that some statistical amount were studied/read versus “every” message.]
